Snow, Snow, and More Snow

Here are some pictures of our big Christmas snowstorm.

This is round one of Matt snow blowing the driveway yesterday. You can see in the tracks how deep it is. Matt also had to do the driveway again later yesterday when a little more snow fell and then the plows finally came through around noon and the end of the driveway got filled in.

Rocky and Lexis had lots of fun watching Matt clear the driveway.

Rocky and Lexis are loving playing in the snow in the back yard.

Here is round two of Matt clearing the deck and driveway this morning of the snow that fell last night. You can see how much more we got again overnight. Unfortunately the belt on our snow blower snapped this morning halfway though the driveway, but our kind neighbor let us borrow his so Matt could finish the driveway in time to get to church.

Belly Pictures

Here are some belly pictures at 22 weeks.

These are a couple pictures of me in a sweater that my mom found a pattern for and a nice lady in their congregation made for me. It is very warm and comfortable.

Lexis has started smelling and kissing my belly this past week. I think she is starting to notice something is changing.

My sister Lauren took these pictures of Matt and I when she was staying with us before heading home to Oregon.

Baby News

We are at the half way point in the pregnancy now (20 weeks).
These are the newest belly pics this week.

We had our big ultrasound this week. We were very excited and happy when we found out we are having a boy. We were even happier to learn that evreything is normal and he is very healthy and growing right on track.
Here are a few pictures of our little one.

This is his profile and his face.

Here is a picture of his toes and one of his feet.

This was our favorite picture. He was doing bicycle kicks over his head during the ultrasound so you can see his legs kicking above his head.

This was one of the 3-D images they showed us of the baby.

Matt's Birthday

Here are some pictures from Matt's Birthday a few weeks ago.

We had our friends Becca, Evan, their daughter Cora, Rachel, Joel, their daughter Addie, and Anna, Steve, and their daughter Nyla over for cheese and chocolate fondue. Everyone loved the fondue and had lots of fun.

Cora was hanging out with mom and dad checking out the big people food.

Addie was having a good time running around.

Nyla was very cute after her daddy had a little "accident" with his chocolate.

First baby Stuff

This weekend we found a couple of good deals on Craigslist for the baby so we mmade our first baby purchases. We got a free changing table and a jogging stroller that was only used a few times for $50.

Lexis liked the new changing table. She "helped" daddy tighten all the screws and then laid down with her head on the bottom shelf.

We forgot to take a picture of the storller but it is a nice black and silver jogging stroller.

The Belly

Hi every one,

Well we have been bad people, but we are going to try to be good and remember to blog again.

We finally took a few belly pictures this weekend so everyone can see the baby belly.

I know it looks little, but it already feels big to me. This week I have been feeling the baby move. He or she is pretty active at night.

Derby Days

We had a great opportunity to promote our church and faith during the Shakopee Derby Days parade.

Sarah and Mike led the way with the banner for our church.

Corbin did a great job handing out candy on his bike.

Matt and I had fun and Matt looked great on his rollerblades handing out candy and flyers.

Cozy and Becca sang, Rachel played piano, and Evan played guitar with the praise band and they all sounded great.

I got to push Cora for Becca and hand out flyers and candy with the stroller. Cora was a big hit with everyone!

Connor did a great job handing out candy too, and everyone loved his crazy hair.
Nana loved working with Finley to hand out candy from Finley's stroller.

Out Fishing

This past weekend Deb's cousin Keith was here visiting so we all went out fishing.

Daddy cought lots of fish for the puppies.

Even Mommy caught one.

Rocky had a good time hanging out on the boat.

And Lexis was very focused on fishing!

Adventures to Cross Lake

We went up to Cross Lake with Becca and Evan to visit her parents. We had lots of fun and had a very relaxing time. Rocky and Lexis had fun playing with Schuster and taking a nice three mile run. We also played the longest game of Uno ever.

We found the Geocache in a dead tree. What a great hiding spot!

Evan and Becca guided us to our geocache destination by using our GPS. I think they had a great time.

BOCCE Ball!!! We all had a great time even Cora.
