Anniversary and Birthday Flight

Matt surprised me with a flight for our anniversary and my birthday. Matt works with a guy who is a pilot and has his own four seater plane and he offered to take us flying. It was a lot of fun and everything was really beautiful from the air. Our pictures don't really do it justice since our camera isn't the best, but it will give you an idea.
We started out at the airport in Glencoe.









First we flew over by Green Isle and I got to show Matt the farm where I grew up from the air.


It is the farm closest to the wing of the plane.They aren't the best pictures, but we don't have much of a zoom on our camera.




Then we flew up the Minnesota River Valley.






Then we flew over Sring Lake where Matt's parents live.








Then we flew over Savage and found our house. Our house is in between the big park and the little pond.





Then we headed up to fly over Lake Minnetonka.It was neat to see all the sailboats on the water.

While we were over Minnetonka Matt poured the champenge he had brought and gave me a pretty new watch for my birthday.













Then we flew over Lake Waconia.

Finally, we got to see a beautiful sunset from the air before we landed.

First time bowling

We took Cal bowling yesterday with Sarah, Mike and their kids. We had lots of fun.
The kids did a great job of bowling without bumpers.












Cal was very patient with being passed around, but did fall asleep in the end.

Tummy Time

One of Cal's favorite things to do is sit in his boppy. You can see with his tummy time he starts out holding him self up really well and as he gets tired he sinks down. And just so you know, he doesn't actually have a unibrow. When he raises his eyebrows, the muscle makes a shadow that looks like a unibrow.Pretty funny!

Fishing with Cael and Cal

We had fun taking my sister Meghan and her husband Dax and my nephew Cael fishing while they were here visiting. Matt and Cael bonded over fishing.















Later while Matt cleaned fish and Dax and Meghan kept fishing Cael and I had some fun on the slides into the lake.



The next morning Cael and I bonded over cartoons with breakfast in bed.

Cal's Baptism

It was wonderful to have all my family here for Cal's baptism.Matt, Cal, and I really enjoyed spending time with them.
I owe a big thank you to my mom and sisters for helping get everything ready and for my dad doing the affirmation in church.


Everyone got in lots of snuggle time with Cal.












We also got new family pictures of Matt, Cal, and I and the Pudell Family and the Muehlenhardt Family.













On Monday, after the baptism, all the Muehlenhardt family got together. We got some great pictures of my great grandpa with with his great and great-great grandkids. We also got a five generation picture with my Great grandpa Hoffeman, my Grandma Muehlenhardt, my dad, my sister Meghan, her son Cael, me and Cal. We also got a picture of Cal with his Great Grandma and Grandpa Muehlenhardt.
