Here are a few pictures of the big belly now that we are technically full term at 37 weeks.
My doctor was on vacation this week so I had to see one of the other doctors in the practice. In his words "Well your baby is huge." Nice bed side manner. Cal is currently estimated to be in the 90th percentile so he is good and healthy. We will see what my doctor has to say on Thursday.
I am still feeling pretty good. My only problem is my unfortunately swollen feet and ankles. They are getting a little sore, but oh well. Only three weeks to go.
Just to show what my feet normally looked like, I included a picture from a couple of years ago. Mine is on the left with the flip flop tan line. the other two are what me feet look like tonight.

Surprise Shower
On Friday Matt and I thought we were just going to a regular faculty get together, but they surprised us with a baby shower. It was a lot of fun and I think we are now set for the baby.
We got a few more sleepers, a baby bath tub, the diaper bag, and all the supplies Matt will need to change those stincky diapers to come.
It was a lot of fun and we really appreciate all the gifts and well wishes!

36 Week Ultrasound
We had our ultrasound this afternoon. It was pretty quick and Cal was hiding his face so I guess he didn't want his picture taken today. So we didn't get any new pictures today.
The ultrasound estimated that he is about 8 1/2 pounds now and we have 4 weeks to go to the due date. His belly was measuring about 4 weeks ahead. His head and femur and other measurements were about 2 weeks ahead. So he has a nice round little belly. The tech also measured his feet for us. They were about 8cm which is about 3in. Gotta love those big Muehlenhardt feet!

The New Office
Matt has worked really hard over the last month to finish the storage room and turn it into our new office so that we could turn our old offic into the baby's room. He re-wired everything with a lot of help from his good friends Tim and Matt. He drywalled, taped and mudded all the walls. Then he painted everything and installed the lights he picked out. Then he stained and installed all the trim. I am so lucky to have a handy husband!
I was going to post a before picture of what this room used to look like, but they have mysteriously disappeared from our computer. So I will just have to settle for in progress pictures and finished pictures. For the before think half drywalled (but incorrectly), unfinished ceiling, bare concrete block, and one bare light bulb for light. Here is the after.

Belly Pics
We have been very bad at posting belly pictures. Here are a few from February. These are the belly at 32 weeks.
Here is my belly today which is about 35 weeks. He is growing quickly.
Everybody at the shower had to guess how big the belly was. Jeanna was right on and Great Grandma Muehlenhardt was only a half inch short. Everyone else guessed bigger.
At the doctor this week my belly was measuring two to three weeks ahead of schedule. So we will be heading in for another ultrasound in about a week and a half so they can try to gestimate how big Cal is. The ultrasound size can be off though by + or - a pound, so we will see. Lets pray that they don't start pushing for a c-section or induction.
